Modern dental technology isn’t about gadgets for their own sake — it’s about more accurate diagnoses, more comfortable visits, and better-fitting restorations. Here’s what we use and why it matters to you.
CBCT 3D Imaging (Cone-Beam CT)
For implant planning, complex extractions, and root-canal evaluation, we use a Cone-Beam Computed Tomography scanner. CBCT delivers a precise 3D map of your bone, nerve canals, and sinus cavities — at up to 90% less radiation than a standard medical CT scan.
Why this matters: implants placed without 3D imaging rely on 2D x-rays and clinical judgment alone. CBCT lets us plan exact implant placement digitally before any surgery — safer, more predictable, and minimally invasive.
Digital Intraoral Scanning
For crowns, bridges, dentures, night guards, and clear aligners, we use a handheld optical scanner instead of traditional putty impressions. The scanner builds a detailed 3D digital model of your bite in a few minutes.
Why this matters: no more goopy trays, no more gag reflex, no more re-takes. The lab gets a more accurate model, which means crowns and aligners that fit better the first time.
Digital X-rays
Modern digital sensors deliver instant images at significantly lower radiation doses than older film systems. Images appear on a screen in seconds, can be zoomed and annotated, and become part of your permanent digital record for trend tracking visit-to-visit.
3D Printing for Custom Appliances
Our night guards, sports mouthguards, and surgical guides are 3D-printed from your digital scan. The result: precise fit at the micron level, fast turnaround (typically a week), and durable medical-grade materials.
Intraoral Cameras
A pencil-sized camera lets us show you exactly what we’re seeing — a cracked filling, an early cavity, or signs of gum inflammation. We believe patients make better decisions when they can see the same things their dentist sees.
Conservative philosophy, modern tools
Better diagnostics let us catch problems earlier and treat them more conservatively. The technology makes us more accurate; the philosophy keeps us from over-treating. Both matter.
